Pendle Art Studio was started by Doug and Hilary Law in 2006.
At that time they lived at Pendle Cottage in Newtyle, near Dundee. This cottage gave their art studio its name. When Doug and Hilary retired they moved to Aberfeldy and kept the name of the studio. They have exhibited their paintings at the Locus Centre in Aberfeldy for several years at Easter time and have regularly been included in the annual Fortingall Art Exhibition.
When the lockdown began in 2020 Doug and Hilary decided to move to Fearnan on the north side of Loch Tay. Here they have wonderful scenery and access to the Loch where they can launch their canoes. It is the perfect place to find inspiration for their art. They are hoping to build an art gallery at their home in Pier View, Fearnan so they can open to the public and share their art work
